Probate
Those family members who are involved in the probate procedure will quickly realise, to leave this mortal world, is far more involved than joining it.
Something you may want to consider when drawing up a Will, especially if the executor does not live here and may struggle with trying to unravel this complicated procedure!
The only solicitor I would recommend is the one who undertook the procedure for my wife. He made the procedure very straight forward and made it extremely simple to execute, which was completed in just 17 weeks.
Remember. Were there’s a Will, there’s a relative.
Retrieval of Recorded Wills
If you need to retrieve your Will from the Registrar’s Office, you will need to go personally to her Office, taking with you your passport (if you have changed your passport since the will was first registered, take your old passport as well) and your registration number. She will go through her archives and return it to you in a matter of ...

From Susie L Ford (MAYHEM)....
We had a packed house at Hati’s Cafe in Esentepe on Saturday 27th May 2023 for our latest Mayhem show and we raised 4,044.00 TL for Tulips and we had an amazing crowd, singing along with us and clapping and dancing to make it a special night to remember.
Hati served lovely mezes, various breads, chicken shish, chips, desserts, trifles, tiramisu, lemon cakes, and chocolate cakes all of which were absolutely perfect
We had a raffle with some great prizes including a barbeque set, bed set, wines, gin, jewellery, a lovely purse plus breakfast for 4 people at Hati’s Cafe, and more! We also auctioned off a rather large teddy bear who we called Mayhem and thank you to Chris Watson for adopting him and you now have a friend for life! Our Mayhem team would like to say a big “WELL, DONE” to you all for helping us make it a very successful and memorable night.
We would also like to say a big thank you to Hati and her team who all worked...

Let’s talk about Archery....... It’s been some weeks now since I was struggling and NIck Gough of Lambousa Archers suggested I seek second opinions and some “one-for-one” coaching which I did from the Girne Archery Club and whilst there was no overnight miracle it helped me focus my mind on my problems and concentrate on analysing them and finding solutions. One problem I have had is setting up the sight on my bow and even though a number of people adjusted my sight for me as Ayse Tez at Girne Hunting Shooting Sports Club Archery Team said, "We can't see what you see", so I have been working on that since I went to a recent archery competition where after lagging behind due to poor sight settings, slowly after shooting 6 sets of 6 arrows at 30m I started to get the distance right and getting the wooden spoon for my efforts in my group and that’s where the hard work started.
Since then, I have been trying to shoot daily in my garden recording sight ...

Introduction by Chris Elliott....
I have been very happy to be able to support the work of Oz Orman by helping to share and promote the videos he has produced for MPFC Productions, many of which are about Cyprus heritage, and the most recent one was the concluding episode about the Talia Airways Air Crash near Buffavento castle and following this, our group of supporters became aware that relatives of the late Andrea Pegg were visiting Cyprus and wanted to pay their respects at the new Talia Airways Memorial.
We then received a copy of a message of thanks from Tanya Mullins the sister of Andrea Pegg to Oz Orman telling him she had been able to visit the memorial.
"Good Evening Oz
We had a lovely week in Cyprus and I visited the memorial at Buffavento.
Fate had us sit next to an English gentleman on the plane whom we befriended. He lives in Paphos and drove me all the way to Buffavento Castle.
It was an emotional day, unfortunately, my mum was not up to making the jou...

For the second season in succession, Esentepe failed in the Play-Offs, the fat lady has stopped singing and the final curtain has come down. Once again Esentepe has suffered heartache in the Play-Offs and they are becoming perennial bridesmaids.

Wednesday, May 17, 2023: AKSA League 1, Play Offs second match. Paşaköy Hasan Onat Stadium.
Weather: Warm with a slight breeze.
Esentepe has had a tremendous season, finishing in the League in 3rd place and ending the campaign with a magnificent 17-match unbeaten run. Unfortunately, in the Play-Offs' they could not re-create their League form, something was missing, the spark, it seemed they just ran out of steam they didn’t do themselves justice. Maybe part of the reason was they were missing one of their best players midfielder Emre Mutlu who had been called up for his Nation Service. One man doesn’t make a team but we definitely missed his combativeness an...
