Tatar told UK Minister of State ignoring Turkish Cypriots was wrong “The UK has failed to display an approach that fully reflects the reality in Cyprus.” President Ersin Tatar met with Stephen Doughty, UK Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories, at the Presidency on Friday 7th March 2025. The meeting, which lasted 30 minutes, started at 4.45pm and was also attended by Güneş Onar, Special Representative of the President and officials of the Presidency. President Tatar made a statement to the press following the meeting. The Greek Cypriots create a fait accompli on the Cyprus Issue Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus regarding the agreements signed by the Greek Cypriot side with Egypt. The Greek Cypriot leadership continues to intensify its policy of undermining the rights of the Turkish Cypriots by creating a fait accompli, a practice that has persisted since 1963. Thank you Dolphin Movers for a great move back to the UK By Chris Elliott…. It seems many ex-pats, are leaving the TRNC for different reasons and sadly, I am one of them. Time to get ready In 2024 I decided I wanted to return to the UK to spend some time with my family after time spent living abroad so I went through a lengthy process of buying a property in the UK which was completed on 15th November 2024. Now there was the problem of getting both myself and my possessions back to the UK and of course, I had to be in my new home to receive my possessions. So I contacted Dolphin Movers and arranged for 7 Boxes of personnel possessions to be collected for shipment to the UK and was given a rough estimate of arrival at London receiving port of 20/21st December so  I arranged to fly back to the UK and moved into my new home on 14th December and started settling in and making ready for receiving my boxes.
