Thank you Dolphin Movers for a great move back to the UK

It seems many ex-pats, are leaving the TRNC for different reasons and sadly, I am one of them.

Time to get ready


In 2024 I decided I wanted to return to the UK to spend some time with my family after time spent living abroad so I went through a lengthy process of buying a property in the UK which was completed on 15th November 2024.


Now there was the problem of getting both myself and my possessions back to the UK and of course, I had to be in my new home to receive my possessions.


So I contacted Dolphin Movers and arranged for 7 Boxes of personnel possessions to be collected for shipment to the UK and was given a rough estimate of arrival at London receiving port of 20/21st December so  I arranged to fly back to the UK and moved into my new home on 14th December and started settling in and making ready for receiving my boxes.


Well let's face it, my timing for moving WAS NOT THE BEST with the Christmas and New Year holidays fast arriving, I had to sit tight and enjoy the first Christmas with my family in many years.

Great news when a plan comes together


So the delivery date from their depot was advised by Dolphin and my boxes came, and a couple of the boxes were looking very tired and worn out after their 2,000-mile plus journey but I am pleased to say all the items I had sent were there with no breakages so clearly I had done a good job of packing them.


So thank you Dolphin for all of your help in getting my possessions back to the UK and it was a job well done.

The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
