ARUCAD First Journal Launched
Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) has published the first issue of ARUCAD Journal, an academic publication focusing on art, design, communication, music, and performing arts. The digital publication aims to provide an innovative platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share innovative research, critical analyses, and creative works in their respective fields.

ARUCAD Journal will focus on a broad range of topics, including architecture, interior design and environmental design, industrial design, visual arts, graphic design, advertising, film, photography, theatre, dance, and music. The publication aims to play a key role in reflecting the complex interactions between different creative disciplines by promoting collaboration among them.

With a focus on the impact of cultural factors on theory and practice, ARUCAD Journal plans to be published annually, encouraging the transfer of knowledge between academia and industry professionals. The first issue of ARUCAD Journal includes research articles, extended abstracts, and a video summary. Associate Professor, Dr. Ehsan Daneshyar, the Head of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design at ARUCAD, serves as the General Editor of ARUCAD Journal.

The journal accepts submissions in Turkish and English, and it is published online. Publications can be translated into Turkish, English, French, Spanish, Russian, and German on the digital platform.

Professor Dr. Burcu Toker stated, "ARUCAD Journal will contribute to academic discussions in the field of art and design at both national and international levels." She emphasized the importance of ARUCAD Journal in supporting the university's mission to strengthen scientific productivity in the fields of art, design, communication, and performing arts.

The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
