Yes you are Right, The Republic Of Cyprus Does Not Exist!

We recently received and published a reader's mail from A.A. Wisley in which he went into great detail suggesting the so-called Republic of Cyprus did not exist. He repeated that the British High Commissioner to “Cyprus”, Irfan Siddiq, publicly said, on 27th July 2023, that the 1960 Constitution no longer exists so A.A. Wisley concluded, that neither could the RoC click here.

Naturally, this article created a lot of attention and comments on social media pages where it had been shared and we received a further communication from MICHAEL STEPHEN who was a Member of the United Kingdom Parliament 1992-97.  He is a Barrister and International Lawyer and a Member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). Mr Stephen wrote an in-depth analysis of the Cyprus Problem and published this as a book named THE CYPRUS QUESTION and having read our article "The Republic Of Cyprus Does Not Exist!" said "Yes you are Right" and has provided a PDF file of his book which our readers can read and download. This book makes it very clear that the so-called Republic of Cyprus should not have been recognised by the international community.

The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
