Ozanköy Car and Park Projects Revealed
 

The third 'Girne Village and Neighborhood Council Meetings' was held on Thursday, February 15, at Ozanköy Sports Club at 19:00; Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul, Girne Municipality Council Members, Kyrenia Municipality management staff and Ozanköy residents attended.

The Girne Village and Neighborhood Council Meeting presented two agenda items: 'Ozanköy Parking Project' and 'Park Ozanköy Project'.  At the meeting, which lasted approximately 4 hours, information was given about the 'Ozanköy Parking Project' and 'Park Ozanköy Project' to be implemented, and the opinions of the local people were taken. After the completion of the part related to the projects, the meeting discussed the problems of the local people and the region. The debates were found to be very productive for both the citizens and the municipality administration.

The "I Imagine a More Livable Girne" short story competition, organized for the sixth time this year under the leadership of Girne Municipality, has concluded.  The competition, which is a traditional event for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and held for the sixth time this year, had as its theme "I Imagine a More Livable Girne". The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
