World Peace University Rector Meets Minister Nazım Çavuşoğlu
World Peace University continues to promote its message in visiting the Minister of Education.

The new Rector of World Peace University, Professor. Dr. Ahmet Alpay Dikmen, visited the Minister of National Education, Mr. Nazım Çavuşoğlu, in his office. Associate Professor. Dr. Behiye Çavuşoğlu accompanied Prof. Dr. Dikmen as Deputy Rector.  During the meeting held at the Ministry of National Education; Rector Professor Dikmen thanked the Minister for receiving him. Professor Dikmen, provided information about the university, pointing out its significance in higher education and stating that it aims to contribute to the quality education provided in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Professor Dikmen said that they are working in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and thanked Minister Çavuşoğlu for his support.  Mr Çavuşoğlu wished success to Rector Dikmen in his new position at World Peace University.

The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
