CyprusScene online E-Newspaper has the internet Green Light again!
By Chris Elliott…

CyprusScene online E-newspaper is going to be published again very soon with a Bumper Catchup Issue!

The resolution of the DNS issue is a significant relief for the CyprusScene e-newspaper, ensuring that our publication can resume without further interruptions. This fix not only restores the connection for readers but also stabilizes the platform for future issues. With the technical difficulties resolved, the CyprusScene team can continue to deliver news and content to their audience, maintaining their commitment to timely and reliable journalism.

See under for what the problem seemed to have been.

"How maddening when I was trying to create a newspaper using my MakeMyNewspaper online newspaper designer in the USA that when I started inserting text as normal into pages with pictures, I was unable to see the picture inserted so I could not make pictures adjustments to suit the text and page layout.

Whats happening?

OK so I sent an email to MMN and they replied by return saying we can read your file and see your file with pictures in the pages and we have 3 website addresses associated with our newspaper designer which are one main website plus a second one of saved projects and finally one for pictures and inserts so they gave instructions to resolve the issue but it did not solve the problem.

So no worries I have 2 evenings with online help from an internet guru and we eventually discovered that from the TRNC the image-based website was not presenting the pictures being called into my newspaper pages which is why I could not see them.

Whats caused the problem?

Why is this, it's because of a DNS failure somewhere in the myriad of computers that pass a request from computer to computer that you are expecting action from the source supply, and in my case the delivery of stored pictures that I can view in the newspaper pages I am designing.

So I contacted my Internet Service Provider who reset my IP address to help clear the system but the problem still exists as somewhere on the internet between the TRNC and wherever my pictures are stored they not being delivered to my newspaper pages when I view them and its not the fault of the Online Newspaper Design programme.

When will the broken link be fixed?

I visted the office of my ISP and spoke to one of their technical guys who said in his country they have to use a VPN to bypass regional blocks so thats what I am trying to do the clear the traffic block on a hosting website which contains far more than a few pictures from CyprusScene and the block would seemed to be located in Turkey.

So until I can establish where the failure is and have this corrected so our newspaper has pictures, I am unable to complete and publish our CyprusScene online e-newspaper and we will resume publishing as soon as I possibly can."
