The Royal Green Garden Restaurant Tatlisu, is a super place to stop for lunch on the way to or from the Karpaz!  This modern and beautifully presented restaurant is set back from the road adjacent to the Garden Centre of the same name.

The establishment has a small children's play area and indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is fresh and interesting with a good range of mostly European dishes; with tasty salads, and the tastiest Fajitas we have had anywhere in TRNC! Ukrainian members of our group commented that the Chicken Kiev was excellent!  The burgers are plump and the Pattie is delicious but you will not get real bacon in the bacon burger. 

Anyone wanting a beer or glass of wine with lunch will be disappointed as this is an alcohol free zone.  But, forewarned is forearmed and they do some nice milk shakes!  Prices are middle of range and portion sizes are very good. 

All in all this is a refreshing and worthwhile eatery along the beautiful northern coast road.

The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
