Deniz Nasıfoğlu Commemorative 'Play For Hope' Event

TOL and DTB Women's Supporter Groups are organizing a comprehensive event in memory of Deniz Nasıfoğlu, who died at a young age, and to honor her battle against cancer. The event, titled 'Play For Hope,' is being held with the support of Girne Municipality, Sunstone Realty, the Mediterranean Sports Union, and the Darts Federation. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Oncology Hospital.

The event will take place on Sunday, June 30th, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Karaoğlanoğlu Antis Beach. The program includes football, backgammon, and darts tournaments, as well as performances by the GENÇSAD Folklore Team.  Cypriot children's games, a paddle race, and live music performances will also be held. Niyal Öztürk Band and Erce Güner will perform live, and there will be DJ performances and food and drink stalls open throughout the day.

Deniz Nasıfoğlu, known for her philanthropy and entrepreneurial spirit in various fields.  She was one of the founders of the TOL and DTB Women's Supporter Groups and played a significant role in promoting women's football.

The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
