As part of "Girne Arkın Fest24," Melisa Karanlık and her Orchestra captivated listeners with their performance at the Girne Ancient Harbour. On the evening of September 17, the group performed at the Port Central Stage, treating attendees to a delightful night with their beautiful songs.
"Grönholm Method" play performed in the Amphitheatre
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus State Theatres' play "Grönholm Method" was performed on Wednesday, September 18, at 21:00 at the Girne Amphitheatre. The play, staged as part of the "Girne Arkın Group Fest24," questions the concepts of "professionalism" and "sacrifice" redefined by the ruthless business world, while presenting the vulnerabilities of individuals within this struggle in a dark comedy format.
Directed by Hakan Elmasoğlu and written by Jordi Galceran, the cast includes Birce Birsel Çağlar, Diren Özdoğal, Ali Şaşkara, and Nazım Bayraktaroğlu.
This Week at the Festival
"Gire Arkın Group Fest 24" has started its third week with a busy events program. From September 16 to 23, as part of the program, the "Girne Municipality MÜZler Art Symposium" will meet art lovers daily from 10:00 to 21:00 at Ramadan Cemil Square. On Tuesday, September 17, at 20:00, Melisa Karanlık and her Orchestra will perform at the Port Central Stage. On Wednesday, September 18, at 21:00, the "Grönholm Method" by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus State Theatres will be staged at the Girne Amphitheater. On Thursday, September 19, the Nicosia Turkish Municipality Jazz Orchestra will perform at 20:00 at the Port Central Stage. On Friday, September 20, the Girne Amphitheatre will host "Mor ve Ötesi" at 21:00. Finally, on Saturday, September 21, the "3rd Gastro Show" featuring Traditional Cypriot Breads will take place starting at 17:00 at Ramadan Cemil Square.
