Running until September 29, the symposium is taking place at Ramadan Cemil Square (in front of the old municipality building). It will showcase the works of 35 artists from various countries, offering participants 16 days filled with art. The "Girne Municipality MÜZler Art Symposium" opened with a selection of original works by 35 accomplished artists from Italy, France, Turkey, the USA, Iceland, Kosovo, Iran, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. During the symposium, the participating artists will engage in creative processes that are open to public viewing at the Girne Municipality Lifelong Learning and Social Living Centre.
Invited artists, academics, and educators will share their personal techniques, aesthetic interpretations, and experiences through the artworks they create during the symposium. Children and individuals with disabilities will have the opportunity to participate for free in art workshops led by the artists, as well as in workshops on science, robotic coding, and brain games conducted by our invited science communicator teacher.
