Tatar meets Erdoğan in New York

President Ersin Tatar met Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, at the Türkevi Centre in New York.

Ersin Tatar expressed his gratitude to President Erdoğan for strongly supporting the just cause of the Turkish Cypriot People in his speech at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

Tatar also referred to the importance of the TRNC Representative Office in the Türkevi Centre.

"The presence of the TRNC Representative Office in the Türkevi Centre is in itself a very important message. I would like to reiterate my gratitude to President Erdoğan for the allocation of a section of the Türkevi building for our Representative Office" President Tatar said.

The Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality will perform "Shakespeare's Ghost" again, this time in Lefkosa. The play, which has received intense interest from the audience since its first performance, will be staged at Lefkosa Atatürk Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 18th, at 20:30. In the announcement made by the Theatre Groups of Girne Municipality, it was mentioned that art enthusiasts who want to watch the play can obtain their tickets from the website www.kibrisbiletcim.com. Written by Ufuk Aydoğan and directed by Batuhan Oruç, the cast of the play includes Kıvanç Giritli, Ömer Dündar, Fatima Saatova, and Shernaz Yardımcı. The play "Crocodile Fire" will be performed in Girne on 26th and 27th April. The Turkish actress, Hazar Ergüçlü, is in the starring  role. She is famous in Turkey for her part in the series titled "Pearl Drops."  The play is sponsored by Girne Municipality and Birinci Global in collaboration with Kamacı Group, Özmerhan Group, Rocks Hotel, Uptown Hotel, and Girne American University.  The play will be performed at Girne American University Spectrum Hall, starting at 20:00 pm. Girne Municipality, Social Affairs Branch Directorate, has announced that half of the revenue from the play will be donated to the Champion Angels Foundation, and the other half will be donated to Girne Municipality Animal Shelter and Rehabilitation Centre.
