KYRENIA ANIMAL RESCUE – CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
Kyrenia Animal Rescue’s annual CHRISTMAS BAZAAR is being held at the recently restyled Lodge Sports Bar in Çatalköy, on Sunday 1st December from 10.30 am until 2.30 pm. There will be in the region of 30 stalls, with the usual KAR stalls selling all your Christmas favourites; including a delicious cake stall offering mince pies, tea loaves, chocolate cakes, with savouries including sausage rolls and quiches, all washed down with mulled wine, if required.
The venue is ideally situated for everyone in the Kyrenia area, as well as only being a 25-minute drive for those from Esentepe, Bahçeli and Tatlisu. Parking is very easy, either outside or in the car parks along the main road – only a 70 metre walk away. Ozzie and his staff will be selling teas/coffees and a full range of beers wines and spirits.
Entry to the event is 75TL with all children in family groups being free of charge. All proceeds from the event go towards the day-to-day running...

Girne ‘Expression of Children’s Rights through Art’ event
Girne Municipality Social Affairs Branch organized an event titled ‘Expression of Children’s Rights through Art’ on Wednesday, November 20th at 15:00 pm.
The event, aimed at children between the ages of 7 and 10, was held at the Girne Municipality Social Life Center (Old Girne Municipality Building). The events, which were held with the participation of approximately 35 children and run by Nevin Halis and Eliz Beyaz, lasted approximately 2 hours. Three different art workshops were presented as part of the event: ‘Creative Fairy Tale Workshop’, ‘Painting Workshop’ and ‘Ceramics Workshop’.

Girne 'Classic Bicycles of Cyprus' exhibition and book launch
The presentation of the book titled 'A Long Time on Two Wheels' written by Dr. Kenan Arifoğlu and the 'Classic Bicycles of Cyprus' exhibition met with art lovers in Girne.
The opening cocktail and book launch of the exhibition, which will come to life between 18th and 28th November, took place on November 18th at 19:00 pm at the Girne Municipality New Service Building Exhibition Hall.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Mayor of Girne Murat Şenkul, Advisor to the Mayor of the Municipality of Girne Mustafa İlgen and classic bicycle enthusiasts. The book, which conveys the process of collecting the old bicycles of Cyprus, which started as a passion of Dr Kenan Airfoğlu, It also conveys the history of bicycles to the readers.

İskele Municipality organized a Lantern Procession this evening 15rth November 2024 on the occasion of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the 15th November Republic Day.
The Republic March was cancelled due to bad weather but at 16.30, the crowd gathered in front of the İskele Municipality Culture House and lit up the Pier with the lighting of torches. The event was attended by İskele Municipality Culture, Art and Foreign Relations Advisor Özlem Kadirağa, İskele Municipality Administrative Supervisor Gülgün Dargın, as well as schools and citizens.

Gazimağusa Municipality Police Seized 448 Kilos Of Illegal Meat
Famagusta (Gazimağusa) Municipality Police Unit's (Zabita) effective inspections of workplaces aiming to control the consumption of food by the public in healthy conditions continue without slowing down.
Within the scope of the inspections carried out by the Police Unit today 13th November 2024 , 448 kilograms of large and small ruminant meat, which was found to be illegal, was seized in the refrigerator of a workplace operating as a butcher within the borders of Famagusta Municipality.

Water Supply Project Started For Famagusta Port
The project carried out in cooperation with the TRNC Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Famagusta (Gazimağusa) Municipality has started for the water supply to Famagusta Port.
The first bucket was struck yesterday 13th November for the project, which aims to provide water supply to public institutions, military units and workplaces and ships in Famagusta Port. Water supply is coming into the port
The project, which has a tender price of approximately 9 million, is planned to be completed in 75 calendar days, in which 2,315 meters of excavation will be made in the port, pipe laying and asphalting will be done, 3 fire valves, 17 special water supply points for ships and 22 mains water connections will be made to the consumers in the port.

President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the 11th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
In his speech, President Erdoğan said “The TRNC’s participation in the OTS Summit as a guest of honour and observer member reflects the Turkic world’s will to stand in solidarity with the Turkish Cypriots.”
Erdoğan added “The Turkic world has important responsibilities to reach a just and lasting solution in the Cyprus issue based on the facts on the Island. The more we embrace and promote the rightful cause of the Turkish Cypriots, the more we strengthen our unity and solidarity.”
