In reality, the problem that lies at the root of the Cyprus problem and needs to be solved is the problem of ‘trust’.
The number of Turkish Cypriots who sincerely trust the Greek Cypriots and Greeks is almost negligible.
The roots of this mistrust go back to the early 20th century, but if we leave the past in the past and return to the present, we see that nothing has changed since then.
As you know, the Greek Cypriots prevent all kinds of initiatives that will mention the name of the TRNC, that will bring the TRNC to the top and that will give the Turkish Cypriots a breath of fresh air. This includes touristic visits and economic and scientific activities.
The Greek Cypriots are doing their best to isolate from the world the state that the Turkish Cypriots, who were subjected to a genocide between 1955 and 1974, similar to the genocide in Gaza today, managed to establish - as a result of their liberation in 1974 with...

Maria Angela Holguin, the Personal Representative of the UN Secretary-General, has concluded her sixth week of investigations into the existence of a negotiating basis for a solution to the Cyprus problem and the Next UN Step is the Planned Intervention to block a Two State Solution
After weeks of negotiations and attempts, Holguin realised that there was no common ground and informed her big brother, Colin Stewart, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP), in detail.
The instruction sent to her was as follows; ‘continue to deceive, pretend to continue the negotiations in the triangle of Ankara-Athens and Nicosia, but your main task should be to establish contact with Civil Society Organisations, especially in the North Cyprus, and to identify the Civil Society Organisations that are pro-Atlantic Alliance and want Federation’. The Royal Green Garden Restaurant Tatlisu, is a super place to stop for lunch on the way to or from the Karpaz! This modern and beautifully presented restaurant is set back from the road adjacent to the Garden Centre of the same name. The establishment has a small children's play area and indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is fresh and interesting with a good range of mostly European dishes; with tasty salads, and the tastiest Fajitas we have had anywhere in TRNC! Ukrainian members of our group commented that the Chicken Kiev was excellent! The burgers are plump and the Pattie is delicious but you will not get real bacon in the bacon burger.
Anyone wanting a beer or glass of wine with lunch will be disappointed as this is an alcohol free zone. But, forewarned is forearmed and they do some nice milk shakes! Prices are middle of range and portion sizes are very good.
All in all this is a refreshing and worthwhile eatery along th...

Like other people, I have had my difficulties with both physical and mental issues which at times were hard to deal with until you take the plunge and start dealing with the issues, you have been pushing to one side.So we must Focus on our life to achieve what we want from life.
As many readers know, my passion and method of relaxation are through the sport of archery but some weeks ago I became very frustrated with my ability and performance and just walked away from Club or any form of shooting arrows at a target..
Time moves on and as life will, other issues and difficulties come along to test you and you may think I can't be bothered anymore and at that point, you have lost focus on your life and how you lead it.
Now a week or so ago I thought this was not the way to go and went back into my garden with my trusty recurve bow and started shooting again still with mixed results but I pressed on and had a couple of shooting sessions at a local club and a...
